Additionally, carbon fiber hoods that are manufactured with the Vacuum Infusion Process are up to 20% lighter than similar carbon fiber hoods. VIS hoods feature a one piece underside shell for added durability and structural integrity. Each hood is ready for installation using your factory hardware, hinges, and latch.

Damage Insurance Policy
Damage Insurance is included on the hood during shipping, but only to your door. After you accept and sign for the package, there is no damage insurance. Please be sure to carefully inspect the hood for damages before accepting delivery. If the hood is damaged, refuse the shipment and sign "damaged" on the signature area of the shipping receipt.

Installation Notes:
Replacement body panels should always be installed by a certified autobody shop. Typical installation procedures may include - but not limited too:
- Installing your factory hardware, hinges and latch from your original hood to the new hood.
- Adjusting the latch assembly, hinges, supports, and surrounding body panels for proper fitment.
- Installing hood pins for additional safety and proper installation (required).
- Installing a heat shield or insulation pad (required).
- Removing factory hood struts/shocks (if applicable) to prevent bending, warping, cracks or other damages.
- Sanding, priming, painting, clear coating, and polishing.
- Installation procedures may vary, professional installation recommended.
- Always be sure to test fit your parts before modifying them. Modifying your parts may void the manufacturers warranty.
